Chinese delegation to visit HTCycle AG headquaters
On 12th of May, 2018 representatives of BGE (Beijing Geoenviron Engineering& Technology) visited the HTCycle AG headquarters in Murchin, Germany. We were honored to have at our head office Mr. Jinming Ling, Executive Chairman of BGE, Mr. Xigang Gao, Vice Chief Engineer of BGE, Mr. Changqing Qi, Principal Engineer MSW of BGE and other engineers interested in our technology.  A presentation on HTC process and its outcomes was offered by Mr. Stepan Kusche, CTO of HTCycle AG. HTCycle AG to exhibit the cutting-edge technology of sewage sludge treatment
HTCycle AG was honored to participate at IE expo China which took place between 3 to 5 of May 2018 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The only clean, sustainable and profitable way for sewage sludge was presented by HTCycle AG to hundreds of visitors and exhibitors at the trade fair. AVA GmbH was awarded the SEAL of Excellence Certificate
BRUSSELS, November 28, 2017 - AVA was awarded the SEAL of Excellence within EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2014-2020. The award was offered for the project proposal submitted by AVA under Horizon 2020’s SME instrument phase 2. The project 802044, HTCycle which refers to the sewage sludge reuse with phosphate recovery and heavy metals was scored as a high-quality project proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process.  The evaluation was based on three criteria required to receive funding from the EU budget Horizon 2020: excellence, impact, quality and efficiency of implementation. The Seal of Excellence is the high-quality label awarded to projects submitted to Horizon 2020 which were deemed to deserve funding but did not receive it due to budget limits. Official launch of the HTC plant in Relzow
RELZOW, November 20, 2017 – Last week AVA officially launched the hydrothermal carbonization plant in Innovationspark Vorpommen in Relzow, Germany. The ribbon-cutting event, which took place on 16th of November 2017, included a demonstration on the ground of the hydrothermal carbonization process led by Mr. Stepan Kusche, CEO of AVA. The participants at the event had the chance to learn about the process and to observe the production of coal from biomass on the spot. The event was followed by a presentation on renewable energy solutions developed in Innovationspark Vorpommen. Würzburg sewage sludge day
Würzburg, June 25, 2017 - The newly established AVA presented itself in the context of the EU project R3Water on the Würzburg sewage sludge days 2017 from 20-22d of June. Stepan Kusche, managing director of the AVA, informed the present specialist audience about wastewater treatment by means of the HTC procedure. The advantages to conventional methods are obvious and left the listeners astonished. The patented treatment of sewage sludge ensures optimum utilization of the starting material with optional phosphorus recovery. "The consistently positive review of the meeting came to the fore in the official invitation to IFAT 2018. We are very pleased." 
Circular approaches to phosphorus: from research to deployment
On March 4th 2015, a workshop on the subject “Circular approaches to phosphorus: from research to deployment”, was organised by DG Research and Innovation, the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform and the P-REX project at the venue Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), in Berlin, Germany. R3Water was represented by Klara Westling from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute as project coordinator and by Stepan Kusche from AVA-CO2 as an SME representative. The workshop gathered representatives from more than 20 currently on-going or recently finished research project focusing on the field of phosphorus recovery and re-use.
